Hey, it's important that we support veterans and their families. One way I'm doing that is by giving to the Veterans Charity Challenge 3. The Veterans Charity Challenge 3 is a fundraising competition where organizations benefiting America's heroes, such as veterans, military families, police and firefighters, compete to raise the most money with the top teams winning grand prize cash donations from craigconnects.

The crowdfunding runs through Thursday, July 2nd at 1:59:59pm ET. The teams that raises the most during the Challenge win money to help them work toward their mission.
- 1st place: $10,000
- 2nd place: $5000
- 3rd place: $3000
To update you on what's going on with the Challenge with just over a week remaining:
- 48 teams are participating
- Over $147k raised total so far, with over $86k raised online
- 19 different States have orgs participating (the most charities being from California)
- 45 different cities have orgs participating
There are also Bonus Challenges each week where the nonprofits can win extra cash for their cause. And, what's great is that even if you don't win any of the grand prize money, you get to keep the money you raise during the campaign.
- Bonus Challenge #1 – Navy SEALs Fund raised at least $250 and won $1000.
- Bonus Challenge #2 – Warrior Canine Connection raised the most during the week, and won $1000.
- Bonus Challenge #3 – Warrior Canine Connection got the most donations during the week, and won $1500.
- Bonus Challenge #4 – Every charity that got at least 10 donations during the week was entered to win $500. There were 3 winners: Returning Veterans Project, Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs Inc, and Warrior Canine Connection.
- Bonus Challenge #5 – Next 100 donations of at least $20 will get a $20 match (Winners: TBD, as this Challenge is happening now, so you can support an org and participate, folks…)
Which teams are you rooting for? And please share this so that we can give back to America's Heroes (I believe we should give year-round but it's important to highlight with Independence Day around the corner) – I figure it's the least we can do…
